The Aesthetic Integrative Medicine and Surgery (AIMS) Society

The AIMS Society was not so much created as it resulted from the natural consequence of the desire to allow the evolution of beauty in Medicine and Surgery. While organizations exist for Plastic Surgery and Cosmetic Surgery, they are generally viewed as from a Surgeon’s perspective. Similarly, Aesthetic Medicine Societies view beauty from a nonsurgical approach. Anti-Aging has its own expertise as well.

The AIMS Society was established in an equal, multidisciplinary manner with providers in all areas of beauty.

Our Mission…

To bring together a global faculty of multi-disciplinary professionals for the purpose of evolving the field of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery by integrating allopathic and traditional medicine treatments, techniques, and products with scientific bases to enhance the true beauty and health of the patient in every dimension, as well as to facilitate scientific exchange, professional training and certification in related fields.

Our Purpose…

To put all ego aside and work together to continually share information, scientifically study interventions to prove effectiveness, and to create educational platforms to evolve the global paradigm of beauty. We are the convergence of ancient practices, cutting edge techniques, and research, evaluated in the light of scientific proof.

AIMS Society Board

Jeffrey Yager, MD

President

Dr Jeffrey Yager is a Plastic Surgeon certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery. He received his undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences from The Johns Hopkins University, and his Medical Degree from The Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.

Dr. Yager completed his training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center where he served as Chief Resident.

He established Yager Esthetics, his solo private practice specializing in Cosmetic Plastic Surgery, in Upper Manhattan in 1997.

Dr Yager was a founder of the AIMS Society, and currently serves as President. He is the Chairman of the 2023 AIMS Symposium and serves as Medical Director of SY Aesthetics.

Jingduan Yang, MD

Vice President

Dr. Jingduan Yang specializes in psychiatry, integrative medicine, and following his family’s tradition, is a fifth-generation teacher and practitioner of Chinese medicine, specializing in acupuncture. He is an expert on classic forms of Chinese medicine, and uniquely incorporates acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, neuro-emotional technique, nutritional and dietary consultation, psychotherapy, and medication management for the care of patients with a variety of emotional and physical illnesses, including chronic pain, stress, and anxiety.

In 2017, Dr. Yang was appointed by the mayor of Philadelphia to the Opioid Task Force, a group that was tasked with developing a comprehensive and coordinated plan to reduce opioid abuse, dependence, and overdose in Philadelphia.

Damon Noto, MD

In 2007, Dr. Noto founded and became president of his practice, Spine and Joint Center, P.C. He has also undertaken advanced studies in anti-aging medicine, nutrition, and exercise, as well as training in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Stanford University School of Medicine to treat back and joint pain.

Dr. Noto prefers to see patients as a whole person, rather than a set of symptoms, by taking into consideration their physical and mental status and designing a course of treatment that meets their unique needs. He provides some of the most cutting-edge minimally invasive treatments for acute and chronic back and joint pain: regenerative therapy, injection therapy, and PRP therapy.

Dr. Noto is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and the American Board of Pain Medicine.

Daniel A. Monti, MD, MBA

Dr. Monti is founding director and chief executive officer of the Marcus Institute of Integrative Health- Jefferson Health. He is Professor and founding Chair of the historic, first-ever, Department of Integrative Medicine and Nutritional Sciences at Sidney Kimmel Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Monti leads the institute and department to continuously expand, refine, and define Integrative Medicine at Jefferson and globally, including innovative clinical programs of excellence, cutting edge medical education, and world class research. Dr. Monti has authored dozens of journal publications, three textbooks, international presentations, and is co-author of two popular press books- Tapestry of Health and Brain Weaver.

Dr. Monti is host of the recently launched, “Dr. Monti Show”, airing on Epoch Times TV.
